After another bad June it was great to finally see some nice weather for football. The first game started limp as the Hitmen stumbled out of the gate getting carved up by the Dragons in the first quarter. In the second half the Hitmen came alive and came close to a comeback but it was too little too late. Not much defense in this one. Dragons popped the Hitmen 43-30
The second game was a fantastic match with both teams trading early offensive strikes. It was anyone’s game but late in the 4th quarter,Badgers Andrew Bailey picked off the ball and any attempts for a Splendas comeback. Big Splendas lose their second straight 24-22.

The Big Splendas came out flat in their game against a Dragons team that was looking for revenge from last season.
The opening week to the 2018 season saw the defending champions continue their winning ways. The Big Splendas came out in full force and pounced on the Rampage. A team that struggled to get in the Red Zone all game. However Jon Blackwood had a strong defensive game for the Rampage while Russ Noseworthy proved again why he is still one of best players in the league.
